Winter 2017 Classes

On-site art classes are offered throughout the year in a variety of media for all ages and levels of training. Together with our professional artist/educators, students explore the creative process in a supportive and experimental environment, and all classes involve educational experiences in the museum galleries.

Painting Class – Exploring Color

Fee: $130 TMA Members, $150 Non-Members

Create your own personal palette while blending, overlapping, and layering color using various mediums. Inspired by the wonderful contemporary works in the museum’s galleries, students learn several painting techniques to come up with color combinations that pop. 8 weeks.

For Grades: K-2
Session A: Tuesdays, 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. January 17- March 14 (no class 2/21)-Shenson

Drawing Class

Fee: $130 TMA Members, $150 Non-Members

Continuation of our Drawing series. Students need not have taken the fall class to register for winter. Experiment with strong lines, vibrant color and composition using various drawing materials such as charcoal, pastels and more. Learn new drawing techniques that will bring your drawings to life! This is an eight-week class.
