Spring 2018 Classes

On-site art classes are offered throughout the year in a variety of media for all ages and levels of training. Together with our professional artist/educators, students explore the creative process in a supportive and experimental environment, and all classes involve educational experiences in the museum galleries.

Drawing Faces & Figures

Dates & Time: Tuesdays, April 10 – June 5 (no class on 4/17) | Time: 3:30pm to 5:00pm

Fee: $130 TMA Members, $150 Non-Members

Session A: 8 week session for ages 6-9

Learn the proportions of the human face and body by creating beautiful and expressive portraits. Develop new knowledge and skills through the exploration of fun faces and fabulous figures!

Creative Clay & Ceramics

Dates & Time: Sundays, April 22 – June 03 (no class on 5/27) | Time: 10:00am to 11:30am

Fee: $100 TMA Members, $120 Non-Members

Session C: 6 week session for ages 6-9

Get those hands muddy and dig deep with clay! Construct sculptures with a variety of ceramic techniques, and learn the basics of ceramics. For hands-on learning, this class is for you! Projects will be fired throughout the course.
