On-site art classes are offered throughout the year in a variety of media for all ages and levels of training. Together with our professional artist/educators, students explore the creative process in a supportive and experimental environment, and all classes involve educational experiences in the museum galleries.

Uninstructed Life Drawing
with KRISTIN LINDSETH

For teens and adults -- all levels welcomed!

Dates: Thursdays, March 28 - May 16, 2019  
Time: 1:00pm to 3:30pm
Fee: $180 TMA MEMBER, $200 NON-MEMBER
(*$160 for students with a valid ID) | ($25 DROP IN FEE PER CLASS)

Draw, paint or sculpt from life in a series of open sessions with models both male and female. These uninstructed life drawing sessions are for all levels of experience, beginning to professional artist. Tables, easels and chairs provided. We have 10 easels on a first-come, first-served basis. Model fees are included. Class runs with a minimum of 5 registered students.

Acrylics A-Z with Jeff Bramschreiber - Winter 2018/19

Time: 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Fee: $190 TMA MEMBER, $210 NON-MEMBER ($25 DROP IN FEE PER CLASS)

Learn exciting techniques in acrylic painting and enhance your artistic skills in this 8 week session class. In this course, you will create and develop 4 paintings in topics ranging from a "Strangers Things" still life to a traditional landscape.

Explorations in Drawing with Jeff Bramschreiber - Winter 2018/19

Beginner to Intermediate

Dates: Fridays, January 18 - March 15 
Time: 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Fee: FEE: $170 MEMBER, $190 NON-MEMBER ($25 DROP IN FEE PER CLASS)

This class will explore all the dimensions of traditional and contemporary approaches to drawing from the fundamentals to illustration. Students will use a variety of traditional and mixed media approaches including dry and wet techniques. 8 weeks.
